A return to the Met in Don Giovanni
Luca revisits the role of Leporello next month at the Metropolitan Opera, in Mozart’s ever-popular work Don Giovanni. Pisaroni debuted in the role at the Met in 2011, which was heralded by critics as a “dynamic” and “charismatic and compulsively watchable” performance. New York Philharmonic Music Director Alan Gilbert leads the run, with Peter Mattei in the title role, Elza van den Heever as Donna Anna, Emma Bell as Donna Elvira, and James Morris appearing as The Commendatore. Performances take place February 4, 7, 11, 14, 17, 21, 24 & 27 and March 2 & 6.
