Luca Pisaroni makes his highly anticipated return to The Metropolitan Opera this season, as Count Almaviva in Mozart’s eternally popular masterpiece Le nozze di Figaro. Performances take place February 25 & 29, and March 3, 7, 12, 16, 19, 22 & 26. Pisaroni is joined by a spectacular cast for this production, including Mikhail Petrenko in the title role, Rachel Willis-Sørensen and Amanda Majeski alternate as the Countess, Isabel Leonard sings Cherubino, and Anita Hartig is Susanna. Fabiol Luisi leads the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra for these performances, in Richard Eyre’s eye-catching staging.

Luca is also joined by colleagues Mariusz Kwiecien, Anita Hartig, Matthew Polenzani, and pianist Howard Watkins for a house concert as part of Classical Action’s Michael Palm Series. The performance, titled ‘Luca Pisaroni and Friends,’ takes place on February 27 and serves as a fundraiser for performing arts against AIDS.
