Role debut in ‘Pelléas et Mélisande’ at Opéra national de ParisScroll
Following his spectacular role debut as Mahomet II in Le siège de Corinthe at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Luca Pisaroni travels to Paris for another greatly anticipated debut. He sings Golaud in Debussy’s ethereal Pelléas et Mélisande at the Opéra Bastille, on September 19, 23 & 27 and October 1 & 6. The cast also includes Étienne Dupuis as Pelléas and Elena Tsallagova as Mélisande, with Music Director Philippe Jordan leading from the pit. The Robert Wilson-directed staging is presented as a co-production with the Salzburg Festival, and was last presented in Paris as part of the 2014/15 season.
