Pisaroni sings Leporello in ‘Don Giovanni’ at the Wiener Staatsoper

In his first engagement of 2018, Luca Pisaroni returns to the Wiener Staatsoper, to sing Leporello in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Mr. Pisaroni has portrayed the role of the Don’s clever and cunning servant at the world’s great opera houses and festivals, including The Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, and the Salzburg Festival. He is also featured as Leporello on a critically acclaimed CD release, available on the Deutsche Grammophon label.

Ludovic Tézier sings the title role, with Annette Dasch as Donna Elvira, Ekaterina Siurina as Donna Anna, and Jinxu Xiahou is Don Ottavio. Sascha Goetzel leads from the pit for all performances, January 14, 17 & 20, featuring a staging by Jean-Louis Martinoty.
