On August 2, Luca Pisaroni will sing at the Stephansdom for a jubilee concert celebrating the centennial of the end of World War I.

Under the baton of Manfred Honeck, the concert will feature the European Youth Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic Choir, as well as an esteemed roster of singers including baritone Thomas Hampson, soprano Maria Nazarova, soprano Cornelia Horak, mezzo-soprano Iris Vermillion, and speaker Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz.

This concert commemorates the lives that were lost and the peace that was brought to Europe for the past 100 years. Honoring this achievement, but also shedding light on the importance of peace throughout the world, the program will include celebrated works by Holst, Górecki, Respighi, Schubert, Haydn, Mahler, Bruckner, Boulanger, and Mahler.
