This August, Luca Pisaroni will make a thrilling house and role debut as Dulcamara in L’Elisir d’Amore with Seattle Opera. In this riotous comedy, Dulcamara sells a ‘magic love potion’ to Nemorino who hopes to win the affections of Adina, prompting chaos to ensue.

The thrilling cast will also include Salome Dicia as Adina, Andres Acosta (Aug. 6, 14, 20) and Amitai Pati (Aug. 7, 12, 17) as Nemorino, Rodion Pogossov as Belcore and Tess Altiveros as Giannetta. Giampaolo Bisanti conducts Stephen Lawless’ WWII era production, originally mounted at Santa Fe Opera in 2009.

Performances will take place on August 6, 7, 12, 14, 17 and 20. August 14th’s performance will be designated as ‘Family Day’ and will allow students aged 18 and under to pay only $20 for their tickets. It will also feature special student-oriented activities during intermission for family fun.
