Rossini’s ‘Petite messe solennelle’ at the Wiener KonzerthausScroll
Following his performances in Rossini’s La cenerentola at the Wiener Staatsoper, Luca Pisaroni continues in Vienna with another one of the composer’s much revered works – the Petite messe solennelle. The concert takes place on March 1 at the Wiener Konzerthaus, with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien and Wiener Singakademie led by Gustavo Gimeno. Additional soloists include soprano Eleonora Buratto, mezzo-soprano Sara Mingardo, and tenor Kenneth Tarver.
The soloists reunite for a performance of the Petite messe solennelle on March 29 with the Orchestre Philharmonique Luxembourg and the Wiener Singakademie, again conducted by Maestro Gimeno.
