Coming soon, Luca Pisaroni shares the spotlight with Sasha Cooke, Nicholas Phan and Maestro Michael Tilson Thomas in the latest recording from the San Francisco Symphony, Berlioz’s dramatic symphony Roméo et Juliette. With a narrative that Berlioz deemed “too beautiful, too musical” to not be performed, this impassioned orchestral scoring of love and despair. This album is scheduled to be released on December 7 and is available for pre-order.
Additionally, a recording of Beethoven’s Mass in C Major with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Mariss Jansons at Munich’s Gasteig will also be released soon, with a DVD of it already available on Amazon. In the high-carat quartet of soloists Luca Pisaroni joins Genia Kühmeier, Gerhild Romberger and Maximilian Schmitt. Also featured in this recording are Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto and Stravinsky’s Symphony in Three Movements.
