This season, Luca Pisaroni adds another iconic Rossini role to his repertoire, singing Mustafà in the composer’s ever-engaging L’Italiana in Algeri in his return to the Wiener Staatsoper. Performing on October 26 & 29 and November 2, Pisaroni stars alongside Elena Maximova as Isabella, Antonino Siragusa is Lindoro, and Orhan Yildiz sings Taddeo in a classic production with staging, sets, and costume design by the late Jean-Pierre Ponnelle.
