In his first of multiple role debuts this season, Luca Pisaroni makes his debut as the Four Villains in a concert version of Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffmann. A work that has long been one of the most popular operas in the standard repertory, the Baden-Baden Festspielhaus presents this work with a star-studded cast, along with the Philharmonia Chor Wien, Les Musiciens du Louvre, all under the direction of Marc Minkowski.

On November 25, Luca shares the stage with Charles Castronovo in the title role, Olga Peretyatko as the Four Heroines, Aude Extremo as Nicklausse, and Mathias Vidal as Andrés, among others. As one of the grandest of all 19th century operas – The Tales of Hoffmann takes the poet Hoffmann through three stories of failed love.
