Luca Pisaroni returns to San Francisco Opera to star in his signature role of Leporello in a new production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Opening the house’s 2022 Summer Season, Michael Cavanagh’s new production is the third and final chapter of San Francisco Opera’s multi-year Mozart-Da Ponte Trilogy, presenting all three operatic collaborations by Mozart and poet Lorenzo Da Ponte.

Conductor Bertrand de Billy leads a star-studded cast headed by Etienne Dupuis as Don Giovanni, Adela Zaharia as Donna Anna, Carmen Giannattasio as Donna Elvira, Christina Gansch as Zerlina, Amitai Pati as Don Ottavio, Cody Quattlebaum as Masetto, and Soloman Howard as Commendatore. Performances include June 4, 10, 12, 15, 18, 21, 26, and July 2.

There will be a live stream of the production on Sunday, June 12, at 2pm PDT via the San Francisco Opera. Performances will be available on-demand for 48 hours starting at 10am the day following the performance.
